New Chair of the Board for Fritz Hansen

Jens Harsaae has been appointed the new Chair of the Board at Fritz Hansen. He brings extensive board experience, including roles at LanguageWire, NIRAS A/S and Abacus Medicine Group, the latter being among Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker’s established ownership positions. He has also spent a significant part of his career at BCG within the consumer goods sector.

Fritz Hansen is one of Denmark’s iconic design companies, with a history spanning more than 150 years. In recent years, the company has undergone a comprehensive operational and leadership transformation. The appointment of Jens Harsaae marks the latest step in this transformation and he succeeds Mark Johnston, Managing Director at Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker, who has served as interim Chair of the Board. Mark will remain on the Board, which consists of five members.

Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker acquired the remaining shares in 2025 and became the company’s sole owner. As active owners with a focus on long-term value creation, we are pleased to welcome Jens Harsaae and look forward to continued close collaboration.
