Unconventional Ventures invests in impact tech startups with a focus on diversity in the founding team. The fund is the first in Europe with a declared goal of investing in startups founded by women, people with migrant backgrounds and LGBTQ+. The fund’s investments are primarily within Climate Tech, Health Tech and EdTech.The starting point for Unconventional Ventures is startups in the Nordic region, but the ambitions reach further out into the world. The fund has invested in Swedish LEIA Health (femtech), Norwegian Ocean Oasis (climate tech) and Danish DORA, which focuses on sustainable transportation.
