Lunar A/S is a digital ‘challenger bank’ which, through its intelligent app-based platform and collaboration with third parties, is rethinking the banking experience.
The ambition is to become the bank of tomorrow, offering the same products as traditional banks, but with a superior user experience and partnering with third parties to offer the best products available to Lunar’s customers.
The overarching purpose is to make banking easier for consumers in the Nordics, offering all products via an app with no physical branches in a transparent, easy and safe way.
Founded in 2015, Lunar A/S has offices in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo. The Company received its own banking license in 2019 and has to date raised over DKK 500 million in funding from investors. Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker invested in the company in August 2019.
